Welcome to the Obleek Experience
If you are like me, then before you make a large investment into something like custom photography, you want to know what exactly it is that you’re getting. I totally hear you, and that’s why I’ve created this page to give you a walk-through of the entire experience.
I invite all my potential clients to meet with me at my home studio where I will give you a tour and show you some of the many props and accessories I offer my clients. Afterwards, we will go over products, pricing, and any other questions you have. And don’t worry, no product decisions have to be made until after you view and fall in love with your images. If you choose to book at the pre-consultation (though there is absolutely no pressure to do so) we will also cover some of the session planning details. More planning will also take place via email and an online questionnaire.
The length of your session will vary depending on your session type, and it will take place in my studio, your home (for lifestyle sessions), or at a mutually agreed upon location. I will work with you to capture natural looking photographs that are candid, as well as direct you on posing when needed; I know how awkward it can be in front of the camera so I’m here to help.
Your Viewing & Ordering Appointment
Your viewing and ordering appointment will be scheduled for around 5-7 days after your session has taken place in either your home (depending on distance) or my home studio. Your photos will be lightly edited with no retouching just yet, though I will present a couple fully edited images so you will get the idea of what they will look like when finished. Together we will choose your favourites and decide which products or package you would like to order. Your order will be finalized and paid for at the ordering appointment. Finished digital files will be sent to you approximately 1-2 weeks after the ordering session. Digital proofs for items such as albums and collages will shortly follow, and you will have up to 2 revisions to make any changes needed which is almost always more than enough (additional revisions are $75 each).
Delivery of Products
Products can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to be printed depending on what you order. Once they are ready, I will deliver your products to you anywhere within Edmonton, St. Albert, or Spruce Grove/Stony Plain. Clients from other areas will arrange to pick up their orders at my home studio.
